ROEL ("the app", "we", "our") is a film-style camera application for iPhone. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information.
We do not collect any personal data.
The app requests access to your camera and photo library solely to capture and save photos. You can revoke these permissions at any time in Settings → ROEL on your iPhone. Without the corresponding permission, the related features will be unavailable.
In-app subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous app user ID — no name, email address, or other personal information is shared. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple processes payment information independently in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment card or banking data.
The app uses the following third-party services:
No other SDKs or third-party libraries that transmit data to external servers are integrated in the app.
App settings, film roll history, and your photos are stored exclusively on your device using standard iOS mechanisms (SwiftData, UserDefaults). This data is not shared with any third party and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take the necessary steps to address it.
Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, no cross-border transfer of personal data takes place on our side. RevenueCat and Apple process data under their own policies, which comply with applicable data protection laws.
Because we do not process personal data, most data subject rights (access, correction, deletion) can be exercised directly through native iOS tools: uninstalling the app, resetting its settings, or managing subscriptions through your Apple ID.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
